Toast to the Woolhampton pub that's had a makeover
The Rowbarge in Woolhampton was closed for three weeks but is now showing off a new oak bar, an open fire, books, plants, rugs, and even a coffee station.
Landlord Steve Butt, said: “The aim of which has been to inject more quality into the look and feel of the pub, as well as giving us time to improve the standards of our food and drink. Internally the key changes have been to build a new quality oak bar and stock it with lots of interesting products.
“The Rowbarge has been through a number of incarnations over the last 25 years, but it feels now like it has come back to its roots as a truly traditional pub.”
The outside areas of the Rowbarge has also been re-organised, and the BBQ kitchen and outside bar have been refurbished do that when people walk in through the new front entrance they immediately arrive at the bar.
