Tony Benn evening cancelled

Tonight's An Evening with Tony Benn at the Corn Exchange has been cancelled, owing to illness. There will, however, be an exclusive video introduction from the former Labour politician and veteran campaigner at the opening of Protest: The Role of Art in Protest, at New Greenham Arts this evening.
Tomorrow (Saturday), as a part of the Corn Exchange’s Protest season, New Greenham Arts hosts an afternoon of discussion and debates. There will be talks from protesters involved in the Women’s Peace Camp and the Third Battle of Newbury as well as acclaimed photomontage artist and political photographer, Peter Kennard, and Artists activist, Noel Douglas. There will even be chances to get involved in badge making workshops and find out more about protest songs. The event begins at 1pm. Tickets cost £5 and can be bought from the Corn Exchange box office on 0845 5218 218.
