Top rock band The Amazons to perform at Renegade Brewery

A popular Reading rock band will be performing an intimate gig at Yattendon’s Renegade Brewery next month.

The Amazons, whose album How Will I Know If Heaven Will Find Me? went to number five on the UK album charts in September, have just collaborated with the brewery on the creation of a new beer.

The new Bloodrush IPA is named after one of the band’s most recent singles.

Frontman Matthew Thomson said: “From pulling pints of Renegade beer at my first job, to now collaborating with them on one of our own, the band and I are so thankful and excited to have the opportunity to come full circle.

“Bloodrush is a song all about connection, so it was a natural fit to base our IPA on.”

The beer is brewed from West Coast hops and English malts, resulting in a fruity, balanced and refreshing 4.8% ABV session beer.
