West Berkshire Council organising event to mark Holocaust Memorial Day

West Berkshire residents will be marking Holocaust Memorial Day at a special service this morning (Friday).
Organised by West Berkshire Council, the event will take place outside the council offices in Market Street, Newbury at 11.30am.
A council spokesperson said: "Please join us outside our offices to reflect, light a memorial candle and listen to a song from the St Nicolas School Choir.
"We will also hear reflections on ‘Lessons from Auschwitz’ and a prayer from Rabbi Zvi Solomans."
