The pair, from Salisbury in Wiltshire, are jointly accused of engaging in a commercial practice, namely tree surgery, which was aggressive through the use of harassment, coercion, or undue influence, and thereby caused the alleged victim to take a transactional decision she would not otherwise have taken.
The alleged offence was said to have been committed in Park Way, Hungerford, on February 27 this year.
Both men spoke only to confirm their name, age and addresses, and to deny the charge.
They were released on bail on condition that they do not enter Hungerford.
They are next due in court on July 10.
