UPDATE: The road is now clear

There are currently delays of around 45 minutes on the A34 near East Ilsley.

A broken down vehicle on the northbound carriageway, between the M4 at Chieveley and the junction with A4185, is currently blocking the outside lane.

The road is not expected to be cleared until about 11.15am, with normal road conditions returning by midday today (Monday).
