M4 update: M4 reopens between junction 13 at Chieveley and junction 14 at Hungerford after earlier accident
UPDATE 3.45pm: The M4 has now fully reopened.
UPDATE 1.35pm: One lane of the M4, westbound, has now reopened following an accident earlier this morning. Delays of around 40 minutes are still being experienced however.
The road is not expected to be fully open until 6.15pm.
UPDATE 11.50am: The road is now not expected to be reopened until around 3.15pm. The incident continues to cause long delays on the A34 and M4 around Chieveley.
UPDATE 11am: The M4 is not expected to be cleared until around 2.15pm, after an earlier accident in which a man was injured.
Heavy traffic is building up around junction 13 at Chieveley, with queues on the A34 and backing up towards junction 12, at Theale, on the M4.
UPDATE: The M4 is now completely shut, westbound, between junctions 13 and 14.
There is very heavy traffic around both junctions as motorists try to find alternative routes.
Traffic is queuing back towards junction 12 and the road is not expected to reopen before midday.
An overturned truck has blocked one lane on the M4 between junctions 13 and 14 this morning.
The inside lane is currently closed on the westbound carriageway between Chieveley and Hungerford.
The accident is not expected to be cleared until around 11.15am.
Elsewhere there are also delays on the A34 this morning.
