Crash causing traffic chaos on A34 near East Ilsley and Compton

UPDATE: 10.10am – This incident has now cleared.

A crash is causing long delays on the A34 this morning (Wednesday).

The incident is on the northbound carriageway between the M4 at Chieveley and the A4185 near East Ilsley and Compton.

Heavy traffic is building up after the crash, which was first reported around 8.40am.

Speeds are down to just 10mph past the scene.

Traffic England said it expects the road to be cleared within the next 30 minutes.
