Train delays causing problems in Newbury

Line problems between Newbury and Westbury causing delays today (Sunday)

LINESIDE equipment problems for First Great Western trains are causing frustration for rail passengers in the Newbury area today (Sunday).

Delays of up to 35 minutes are expected to last until approximately 2.30pm.

Earliet this morning 25 minute delays were causing problems expected to have been resolved by 12.30pm.

Lines affected are: Newbury, Newbury Racecourse, Aldermaston and Reading, Castle Cary, Westbury, Pewsey, Bedwyn, Hungerford, and Kintbury.
