Rail users were experiencing delays of 30 minutes earlier today (Wed) after a signal failure at Taplow led to a line closure.
The problem affected passengers travelling between Slough and Reading.
A spokeswoman for network rail, Sam Kelly, confirmed that the line had now re-opened.
She said: "Repairs were carried out and the line has reopened.
"A speed restriction is in place and engineers will return tonight to carry out full repairs.
"There are delays of up to 10 minutes."
