Travellers invade West Berkshire

The group of about nine caravans and associated vehicles arrived on Thursday evening at land at Bradley Court Lane, just off Priors Court Road.
Thames Valley Police were informed at about 8pm on Thursday and served a notice to leave on the travellers.
On Friday, NDAS General Manager Mary Hopkins, said: "The society is very anxious to see the travellers move on from the site as soon as possible.
"Both we and the police have served trespass notices.
"I have personally contacted our neighbours and reassured them that we are doing all that we can to avoid further nuisance to them."
The travellers vacated the land at about 4.45pm on Sunday.
Meanwhile, another group of travellers parked up on Dunstan Green in Thatcham at about 8.45pm on Tuesday evening.
This included about 16 caravans and 10 cars.
Thames Valley police served them a notice to leave and they had vacated the property by about 10.30pm on the same evening.
