Travellers move from St Barts to Stroud Green

Around 12 vehicles were parked on St Bartholomew's School playing field on Enborne Road yesterday (pictured), but were evicted from the site by West Berkshire Council officers last night.
A spokeswoman for the district council, Peta Stoddart-Crompton, said that shortly afterwards, travellers arrived at Stroud Green, Greenham, believed to be the same group.
She added that the council believes it to be the same group of travellers that parked overnight on School Green, Greenham Road, from Sunday to Monday, which were thought to be en-route to Dorset.
Miss Stoddart-Crompton said: "Council officers are there with the police this morning talking to the travellers regarding them moving this afternoon."
