Newbury students have enjoyed success at this year’s UK Chemistry Olympiad.
The competition is designed to challenge and inspire budding chemists to develop critical problem-solving skills, think more creatively and to test their knowledge in new, real-world situations.
And this year three students from Trinity School came out on top.
David Eggington and Ruby Fox were received silver awards, and Mariana Martins was awarded a bronze award.
Their wins put them in a strong position for their A-Level Chemistry exams, which they take will take later this term.
