Trio of small fires hit West Berkshire and Hampshire today (Sun)

Two of the incidents were chimney fires.
Crew manager, John Halford, confirmed that one pump attended a chimney fire in Highclere, Hampshire, at around 11:40 am, and then attended a similar incident at 2pm in Compton, West Berkshire, with each taking around one hour to extinguish.
Meanwhile, one pump Newbury fire station attended a skip fire in Baydon Road, Shefford Woodlands, at around 2:20pm.
Crew manager Mike Wilson said that no-one was injured in the incident, but assistance was required from some JCB drivers from a neighbouring business to empty the skip in order to extinguish the flames.
He said they were on the scene for approximately two hours.
