Tug of war-ers got a score to settle with the council

Last year’s event was won by Rosie’s Pullers, made up of Thatcham Town Council staff and friends.
If you think you have what it takes to beat the town council, you can pre-register a team of six or turn up on the day.
The free Fun Day takes place on on Sunday, June 29, between 11am and 4pm at Henwick Worthy sports ground.
