Two 14-year-old girls Ruby and Amelia missing from Mortimer near Newbury in West Berkshire
Police have launched an appeal for information on the whereabouts of two missing girls.
Ruby and Amelia have been reported missing from Mortimer and police are concerned for their welfare.
The two girls, who are both 14-years-old and are believed to be together, were last seen yesterday (Tuesday) at approximately 9.50pm.
Ruby is white, around 5ft 3ins tall with a very slim build and long black hair.
She was last seen wearing black leggings, a black long-sleeved cropped puffer jacket and grey hooded top.
Amelia is also white, around 4ft 11ins tall with a slim build.
She has brownish red hair, half up and half down.
She was last seen wearing black leggings and a shiny back Moncler jacket.
She has ear piercings and a couple of tattoos, a heart on a forefinger and a butterfly with the number 224 on her wrist.
They are both known to frequent the Barking and Dagenham areas of London and also Croydon.
Ruby also has links to Nottingham.
DCI Emily Evans, based at Newbury police station, said: “I am appealing for the public’s help in tracing these two girls, who may well be together.
“We’re concerned for their welfare, and I would urge anybody who knows of their whereabouts to please report sightings via our dedicated missing persons’ portal.
“If you see either of them, I would ask you to please call 999, quoting reference 43250095187.
“I would also like to appeal directly to Ruby and Amelia. You are not in any trouble, but we are concerned for you, so please make contact with us to let us know where you are.”
