Two accidents causing delays on A34 northbound this morning (Thurs)
The first occurred at East Ilsleyshortly before 7.30am.
One lane is blocked and the Highways Agency have reported delays of 30 to 40-minutes in the area.
One patient has been taken to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford via ambulance. A rapid response vehicle also attended.
A second collision occurred at Chieveley, beneath the junction for the M4 roundabout, and involved a Peugeot and a Ford Focus.
A spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police said they were alerted to the incident at around 8:34am and that police, fire and ambulance crews were currently in attendance.
One lane is blocked.
A spokesman for the Highways Agency, who asked not to be named, said: "This was an incident that occurred from the tailbacks from the first [accident].
"Traffic is moving and the vehicles are being recovered."
Police are directing traffic at both incidents to make way for emergency and recovery vehicles.
Police confirmed at 10.06am that both incidents had been cleared.
