Two arrests following Thatcham diesel theft




Police were called to construction site in Colthrop after fuel was stolen from a bowser

TWO men have been arrested following the theft of diesel from a construction site in Thatcham.

Police were called to the site in Mill Lane, Colthrop, at about 8pm on Tuesday (17), after a report of diesel being stolen from a bowser on the site.

Two men were detained at the scene by an employee.

A 42-year-old man from Hungerford and a 35-year-old man from Maidenhead were subsequently arrested on suspicion of theft and going equipped to steal.

They have both been released on bail until March 5.
