Two-car collision in Curridge this morning (Thurs)





A spokesman for Thames Valley Police, James Williams, said that police were alerted to the incident, at the Donnington link with the A339 at the junction with Curridge Road, shortly after 8:30am this morning.
He said that a male and a female driver were involved, and the latter was trapped in her veichle.
He confirmed that fire crews were in attendance and were attempting to free the woman, who was complaining of neck pain.
The ambulance service has also been alerted to the incident.
Update at 10:22am:
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service, James Keating-Wilkes, said that the female driver had been taken by land ambulance to Royal Berkshire Hospital.
No information on the condition on the other driver was available.


TVP spokesman, Mr Williams, said that all vehicles had been recovered at around 12pm.
