Two vehicle incident in Padworth saw road closed while drivers were treated for injuries
TWO drivers have been treated for injuries following a road accident near Burghfield Common.
The incident occurred at around 11.30am today (Monday) in Padworth Road, between Reading Road and Island Farm Road, on the outskirts of Padworth.
Thames Valley Police spokesman Craig Evry said: “We received a call at 11.29am following a RTA between two vehicles. One was a red Audi A6, the other was a Masda van.”
The Audi was in a ditch when officers arrived at the scene.
South Central Ambulance attended, and treated both men for minor injuries at the scene.
The road was closed in both directions while debris was cleared.
It was reopened at around 12.20pm.
