Two men charged with West Berkshire armed robbery

The post office in High Street was targeted at about 5.30pm on December 5.
A man wearing a hooded top and armed with a crowbar entered the shop, before jumping over the counter.
The offender then struck a member of staff on the shoulder with the weapon, before stealing more than £100 from the till.
Thames Valley Police has now charged two men in relation to the robbery, as well as a number of other offences, including further robberies in Oxfordshire and Sussex.
The two men, aged 32 and 34, both from Wallingford, Oxfordshire, appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court this week, where they were remanded in custody to next appear at court on March 16 next year.
