Two people injured in two separate collisions in West Berkshire today (Sat)
FIREFIGHTERS were called to release two people trapped following two seperate collisions in the district today (Sat).
Earlier this morning the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) were called to reports of a female trapped in a vehicle following an RTC in Park Wall Lane, Lower Basildon.
The RBFRS sent one pump from Pangbourne and two pumps from Reading - including a Heavy Rescue Unit - to the scene.
The female was released by the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service and is now in the care of the South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS).
In a seperate incident earlier this afternoon, two pumps from Newbury attended an RTC involving two vehicles at Wharf Road, Newbury in which one person was trapped.
The person was released by the RBFRS and is now in the care of the South Central Ambulance Service.
