2 people taken to hospital following Cold Ash collision

Two people were taken to hospital following a collision in Cold Ash today (Monday).

Firefighters from Newbury and Tadley were called to The Ridge this afternoon, assisted by South Central Ambulance Service and Thames Valley Police.

Crews said that two people were taken to hospital.

The incident left a car on its side, and one of the injured had to be pulled from the vehicle.

The road was closed during the incident but firefighters said it was expected to reopen shortly and advised people to consider taking an alternative route.
