Newbury has two Young Musicians of The Year as judges at Sunday's final were unable to split 19-year-olds Emmanuel Bach on violin and Drew Steanson on piano in a very high standard field of nine. They jointly lifted the tophy specially designed and crafted by David Duke, and also win a cheque for £2,000, and a chance to play with Newbury's resident professional orchestra Southern Sinfonia, who organised the competition, at a future concert.
