Village road closures planned for carriageway and drainage works next week

Two village roads will be closed next week for carriageway and drainage works.

They are the unnamed road from Chapel Row to Standford Dingley, in both Stanford Dingley and Bucklebury, which will be closed on Tuesday, March 4, between 8am and 5pm.

The closure is to allow Volker Highways to carry out drainage works to alleviate flooding between the junctions of Manor Farm Road and Cock Lane.

Blue light and residential access will be maintained if possible.

And Roundfield, Bucklebury (off Little Lane), will be closed the following day (Wednesday) between 8am and 5pm.

The closure is to allow Volker Highways to conduct permanent carriageway repairs.
