Unclaimed lottery ticket bought in West Berks

£250,000 as yet unclaimed from winning lottery ticket bought at the end of March

It's time to check the back of the sofa, your back pockets and all those receipts that have accumulated in your wallet, because you may, quite literally, be sitting on a quarter of a million pounds.

A lottery ticket bought in West Berkshire three weeks ago has yet to be claimed, and National Lottery operator Camelot says that unless the winner comes forward by September 25, the money will be donated to charity.

The lucky ticket was sold on March 29 and matched the six main numbers in the Lotto Plus 5 game.

National Lottery spokesman Patrick Lisoire said: “We're desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody's life. We're urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
