Uninsured Thatcham driver Nathan Palmer fled crash scene

A MOTORIST fled the scene of an accident after crashing into four cars.

To make matters worse, Nathan Palmer was uninsured.

The 23-year-old, of Horse Guards Way, Thatcham, appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October 23.

The court heard that, at a previous hearing, he was convicted in his absence of careless driving, driving without insurance, failing to stop following an accident in which a Volvo V40, a Mercedes E Class, a Vauxhall Astra and a Ford Focus were damaged, and failing to report the accident.

That incident happened in Crofton Hackett, Worcestershire, on January 29 last year.

Magistrates ordered pre-sentence reports to be prepared.

Mr Palmer was meanwhile released on unconditional bail.
