LEARN MOREA driver in Thatcham has had their car seized by Thames Valley Police for driving it without insurance.
The Vauxhall Corsa was stopped and the driver was questioned by police today (Tuesday).
The motorist was also issued with six points on their licence and a £300 fine, along with recovery costs.
According to Thames Valley Roads Police, the driver stated that they were insured and had spoken to their manager the day before to have the vehicle added to a trade policy of insurance.
However, after calling the manager, the police found that the motorist was in fact uninsured and no longer working, as a car salesman, for the company they had stated they were.
