Unprovoked attack on teen in Tilehurst
The 17-year-old boy was walking through an alley that connects Partridge Drive and Firs Road at about 7pm on Thursday (16) when the incident happened.
As he walked out of the alleyway, he was stopped by three men all wearing hooded tops.
The men stopped the boy and proceeded to hit him, knocking him to the floor, where he was attacked further.
The men then walked away and got into two vehicles parked nearby in Firs Road, one of which may have been a Vauxhall Corsa, and both cars were driven away from the scene into Park Lane.
Pc Gary Miller said: “This would appear to be an unprovoked attack and the boy’s attackers didn’t speak at all during the incident.
“I am keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area and seen the incident or seen the men that carried out the assault and provide information about their movements.”
Anyone with information should contact the police on the non-emergency number on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
