Up and away with My Newbury

Tom Mitchell took pictures of rooks fighting over some bread in his Curridge garden, of red kites flying overhead and of a leaf while walking his dog in Cold Ash woods.
The eagle-eyed photographer said: "The bright sun was shining down through the branches and the leaves of the trees looked like they were lit up which I managed to capture with my macro lens."
Lesley Taylor took pictures of a swan and cygnets at Shaw Park by the River Lambourn and Ken Rayner From Hungerford took a snap of Oil-Seed Rape fields in North Standen near Hungerford.
Finally, Craig Marven took some pictures of the BT Olympics 2012 balloon inflating and taking off from behind the Cottage Inn in Upper Bucklebury.
