Up to 6cms of snow forecast for West Berkshire





A yellow warning of snow and ice has been issued, with up to 6cm of snow expected to fall across Hampshire, West Berkshire and Reading between 6pm on Tuesday and midday on Wednesday.
Another yellow warning of rain has been issued for parts of the region, including Hampshire, with the conditions forecast from 2pm today (Mon) until 9am tomorrow morning (Tues) and again from midday onWednesday until 9am on Thursday.
The 19 hour warning says that a spell of persistent, and at times heavy rain is expected to develop across the far south and south east.
It also says that there could be up to 30mm of rainfall locally and advised the public they should be aware of the risk of disruption to travel from standing water or localised flooding.
A 24 hour yellow warning of wind is also in place for West Berkshire and Hampshire from 3pm on Wednesday until 3pm on Thursday, with gusts of up to 65mph expected.
