Road repairs and closures planned for Bradfield
Two road closures are planned in Bradfield.
Buscot Hill will be closed from May 27 until October 25 between its junction with Common Hill and Union Road.
The purpose of the closure is to enable refurbishment works on Army House at Bradfield College.
An alternative route is via Common Hill, Union Road and vice versa. The diversion will be signed on-site.
Residential access will be maintained throughout, but blue light access will not be permitted.

West Berkshire Council’s contractor, Volker Highways, will also be closing and undertaking essential carriageway resurfacing on The Laffords, Bradfield.
The work is scheduled for June 13 and 14. The start date and duration of work may change if wet weather occurs.
No on-street parking will be permitted within the works and access to properties and businesses will be restricted or delayed at times.
The council said residents have been sent letters notifying them of the disruption.
It also confirmed access will be made available to emergency vehicles on a blue light call under site supervision.
It advises residents to read information boards, which will soon be erected on-site and updated as required.
