UPDATE - Person cut from car following Beenham crash




Police, fire and ambulance are currently at the scene at Grange Lane following the earlier two car crash

UPDATE - Both police and fire crews left the scene by 2.15pm and the road is now clear.

The driver of the Calibra was taken by land ambulance to the Royal Berkshire Hospital after complaining of neck and shoulder pain.

EMERGENCY services are currently at the scene of a crash involving two cars in Beenham.

Thames Valley Police were called to the scene at Grange Lane at 11.56.

The incident involved two cars – a blue Vauxhall Calibra and a black Vauxhall Astra.

The driver of the Calibra had to be cut out of the car by Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service and is being assessed by ambulance crews after complaining of back and leg pains.

A fire crew from Newbury and one from Dee Road are at the scene.
