Update: Railway lines between Reading and Paddington are re-opened

All services along the route were suspended throughout this morning (Thurs) after an electrical fault caused engineering work to over run.
First Great Western initially said it did not expect the lines to open until tomorrow (Fri) afternoon.
However, some lines have now re-opened.
Customers are still advised not to travel unless the journey is essential.
