Urgent repairs to close Burghfield Road today (Weds)

Due to the location of the roadworks, Reading Borough Council said it was necessary to close the road to all traffic at the road bridge over the railway line.
The closure is required to ensure the safety of the works force and all road users
The road closure will begin at 7am and will remain in place until the work is complete.
This is expected to be no later than midnight.
Should the work be completed sooner the road will be reopened.
