Van involved in collision with cyclist in Tadley




Woman taken to hospital

A woman was taken to hospital after a van was involved in a collision with a cyclist yesterday (Wed) morning.

Hampshire police were called at 7.58am to Franklin Avenue, following reports of the collision.

South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) spokeswoman, Michelle Archer, said an ambulance was called at 7.53am, to the junction of Franklin Avenue and Bishopswood Road.

The woman cyclist was taken to the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital with head and leg injuries.

According to police, the woman's injuries were not believed to have been life threatening at the time of the collision.

Police have asked anyone who saw the incident to telephone the non emergency number, 101 and quote 44160096136.
