Newbury Adventure Golf opening in Victoria Park in time for Easter holidays
The new mini golf course being constructed at Victoria Park is set to open tomorrow, just in time for the Easter holidays.
Newbury Adventure Golf, located next to the tennis courts, will be officially opened by mayor Billy Drummond on Saturday at 11.30am.
The 18-hole course will have a British wildlife theme and is full of obstacles and exciting features.
Leader of Newbury Town Council Martin Colston (Lib Dem, West Fields) said: “This will be a great addition to the great facilities we already have at Victoria Park, our ‘jewel in Newbury’s crown’ and together with the tennis courts, bowls club, splash park, skatepark and play facilities, there’s something for everyone in the right in heart of the town.
“The new Adventure Golf facility will be located in the area between Queen Victoria and her lions and the tennis courts, so there’ll still be plenty of green open space to enjoy in the park”.
Newbury Adventure Golf will be open on weekends and school and bank holidays – if it is successful, this will be extended to seven days a week.
Eighteen holes costs £4.95 per person and you can book your spot on the course at this website: https://bit.ly/3r9ntSE
Director at Newbury Adventure Golf Jack Robinson said: “We are over the moon to be bringing a new and exciting activity to Victoria Park, Newbury. Our course design ensures that no-one is left out with holes to entertain all ages and abilities at an affordable price.”
