Victoria Park play area to close for six weeks

Newbury Town Council has confirmed that the children's play area will be closed from today (Monday, April 11)
THE children's play area in Victoria Park will be closed to the public for about six weeks from today (Monday, April 11).
The closure is to allow the removal of the existing facility and installation of a new play area, complete with brand new equipment.
Newbury Town Council services manager, Granville Taylor, said the town council apologised for any inconvenience caused by the closure, although he said it was necessary to ensure public safety.
