Video: Re-live the fun of Thatcham Family Fun Day

Following the cancellation of last year’s owing to extreme wet weather in the days running up to it, about 2,500 people descended on Henwick Worthy Sports Ground on Sunday.
Visitors were treated to two fun runs, a mascot race, a fun fair, classic car show, games, entertainment and more than 50 stalls.
The annual event was raising money for the Spring Charity Fundraisers and Thatcham mayor Mike Cole’s charities of the year, West Berkshire Foodbank and Heartstart Thatcham, and more than £1,000 was collected throughout the day.
Other charities running stalls were also collecting and raising awareness.
Talking as the day came to a close, Mr Cole said: “Today is all about community and family. It has been a fantastic success and the weather has been wonderful.
“After the disappointment of last year’s cancellation, it has been a brilliant day.”
