VIDEO REPORT: Children in Need hits West Berkshire
Pudsey Bear and friends have been collecting money throughout the district today (Friday)
CHILDREN in Need fever is once again gripping West Berkshire.
People have been out and about in droves this morning, collecting donations and doing their bit to support the charity.
Pudsey bear has been seen on Bridge Street, Newbury, with collection buckets along with Bob the Builder and members of the Newbury Round Table.
Across the district, all sorts of strange goings-on have been reported, including men shaving their heads, women dressing as babies and diets being forgotten as cakes are devoured for the benefit of fellow man, so make sure you have some spare change ready.
The staff at Cargo in Northbrook Street, Newbury, have dressed up as fairies, while at Dension Barracks in Hermitage staff dressed up as superheroes and held a cake sale.
