Video report: Pancakes at the ready at 2014 pancake race!

The event, organised by Soroptimist International, saw 18 teams take part this year, all of whom were spurred on with whoops and cheers from the crowd.
The Ross Brooke team were crowned winners of the Pancake Champion 2014 award, sponsored by the Newbury Weekly News.
Ben Saunders from law firm Thomas Eggar was named as Pancake Tosser of the Year and L. K. Hair was awarded the prize for best dressed.
All proceeds from the event will go towards Citizens4Change, Kenya, and Samaritans of Newbury.
It was followed by a pancake lunch at St. Nicolas’ Church Hall to raise further funds for the two charities.
