Villagers have come together to mark Remembrance.
Residents of Tilehurst came together to honour this year’s Remembrance by making displays in shops, churches and schools to honour the women who worked during the war.
A new statue has been placed of a female soldier by Tilehurst Library in School Road.
The village also built a giant poppy in the Triangle on Friday, November 10.
This event ran from 9am until 3pm and involved choirs from local schools.
The United Reformed Church in Armour Road also showcased a number of displays about the war on Friday and Saturday from 10am until 4pm.
