Aldworth Saturday Market celebrates 21st birthday milestone

Twenty-one years ago Aldworth’s shop committee members organised a non-profit, local shop with no certainty on whether it would last until Christmas.

Much to many residents’ delight, the market instead continued to thrive, and this Saturday (September 9) marks its 21st birthday.

The celebrations take place from 10.30am until noon at Aldworth Village Hall.

Special stalls will include fresh flowers and plants, homemade jams and chutneys, handmade cards plus silk scarves, bags and knits.
