Groovy village market comes to Beenham

Step back into the era of disco and decadence that was the 1970s this weekend.

Beenham is hosting its village market at its village hall on Saturday, from 2pm till 3.30pm.

Everyone is invited to attend, including dogs, and dressing up is welcome but not required.

The event has a casual atmosphere and offers visitors a chance to meet new people and catch up with those they do not see often.

The market includes a small Repair Café so if visitors have broken items, a few talented individuals will be on hand to lend their assistance.

Tea, coffee and homemade cakes will be on sale for £1, with a couple of stalls also selling pet treats and household goods.
