Remembrance Sunday Service held at Upper Basildon

More 40 parishioners attended the Remembrance Sunday Service at St Stephen’s Church in Upper Basildon on November 10.
At 10.50am, a small crowd gathered at the War Memorial for an Act of Remembrance.
The service was conducted by Jen Green and the Roll of Honour was read by Clive Williams.
Wreaths were laid on behalf of the Shrievalty of the Royal County of Berkshire, Basildon Parish Council, the fallen of the parish and St Stephen’s Church.
Another service followed in the church, with refreshments provided.
