Villages likely to be without power this evening (Saturday)

Energy company SSE has this evening released a list of villages that it says are likely to be without power this evening.
They are as of 7pm:
Bradfield and Englefield - 241 properties
Brimpton Common and Brimpton - 273 properties
Chieveley, East Ilsley, Hermitage, Leckhampstead and West Ilsley - 377 properties
Brightwalton, Chaddleworth, Great Shefford and Whatcombe - 578 properties
Pingewood and Grazeley - 214 properties
Little Bedwyn, Littlecote, Shalbourne and Stype - 111 properties
Welford - 54 properties
The company said at 7pm that 2,433 homes were without power across the 'rural Newbury' area because the flooding and fallen trees had made accessing work areas difficult.
It says that more than 1,000 engineers, linesmen, tree-cutters, line patrollers and support staff have been at work since early this morning with the aim of restoring all power supplies as soon as possible.
