Reading Magistrates' Court: Violent Newbury man attacked doctors
A MAN with convictions for violence is awaiting sentence after two doctors became his latest victims.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Monday, August 22, was Darren Brown.
The 42-year-old, of Northway, Newbury, admitted assaulting Dr Harash Vilvarajah while he was on duty as an emergency worker.
He also admitted assaulting another emergency worker, Dr Moyosolu Agboola, on the same occasion.
Both offences were committed in Reading on Monday, January 17.
Magistrates ordered pre-sentence reports to be prepared on Mr Brown, who has previous convictions for offences including wounding with intent, false imprisonment and blackmail.
He was meanwhile granted unconditional bail.
