Volunteers need to line up thousands of dominoes through Newbury town centre
Station House Opera will be bringing its line of dominoes to Newbury on June 25 and they need your help.
Thousands of breezeblocks are used to create a moving sculpture which will weave through the town centre.
Dominoes takes a simple concept and uses it to create an alternative vision of the environment.
And now you can be part of this playful yet epic piece as it weaves through the streets of Newbury.
Thousands of concrete blocks installed by hundreds of volunteers form a meandering line through the town, traversing roads, pavements, waterways and parks. At a pre-arranged signal, the first block falls, knocking over the second, the third and the fourth – gaining momentum until the toppling blocks surge through the streets, creating a spectacle that is engaging, mesmerising and witty.
Blocks climb steps, cross bridges, teeter from high places and execute gravity defying routines along a one kilometre route.
You can choose your place to watch as the domino fall comes past or plan to chase them to their final destination.
One of the organisers, Hannah Green, said of the installation: "This has travelled internationally and we are super excited it's coming to Newbury!"

Miss Green added: "For more information specifically about the show in Newbury, please email me so I can give you more information. The most important piece of information I will share now – lunch is provided for everyone involved."
