Thieves steal from car and garage in Thatcham

A jacket and wallet containing credit and debit cards have been stolen from a car in Thatcham.

A red VW Golf was broken into in Elmhurst Road between 8pm on Monday (June 2) and 7am yesterday (Tuesday).

Police urge the public to contact the Police Enquiry Centre on 101, quoting reference number 43250274158, if they have any information.

A home was also broken into and burgled in Browning Close between 11pm on Monday and 7am yesterday.

Someone stole fishing rods, other fishing equipment and a pressure washer after gaining access to a garage by damaging the door.
