Walrus, horseshoe, handlebars? Gentleman opt for the musketeer moustache for Movember





Billy Franklin, the manager of The Gentleman’s Shop, and director Robert Johnston are being sponsored by customers to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK.
Mr Johnston said the fundraiser had resulted in a huge impact on sales of moustache wax, razors and combs, which had increased by 500 per cent at the Charnham Street shop.
He said: “Most men assume that a moustache is just a hairy lip, but as a barber of 30 years’ experience there are many styles available to suit face shapes, so it should not be entered into lightly.
“Rudyard Kipling once said: ‘Kissing a man without a moustache is like eating an egg without salt’.
“I’ve promised my wife Charlotte that my new look will be similar to that of a musketeer moustache, as sported by actor Johnny Depp in the film Pirates of the Caribbean – but that may be a tall order…”
